Caddie Classic, Sunset CC, Sumter

March 30, 2013 –  Sumter, SC

Kelli Murphy (Elgin) and Alex Gillian (Irmo) are co-medalists after the 20th playing of the SCJGA Caddie Classic. Both players ended up at two over 72 for the single round event. A front nine of three over left Murphy trying to get back to even par. A single birdie on the back ninehelped the Auburn bound player get one back and finish with a three shot lead.

Players competed for the coveted caddie positions and will get to choose their “team” based on their stroke play finish.  The players will have the opportunity to get close to celebrities, professional athletes, and stars of the PGA Tour.  One of the really neat aspects this year is that Kelli Murphy just finished a major school project on Nancy Lopez and now she will have the opportunity to spend the day with the LPGA Hall of Famer!  (Great playing Kelli!)

19th Annual Ford Picard Christmas Classic

Kelli Murphy wins the 2012 19th Annual Ford Picard Christmas Classic held December 20-21, 2012, at Wild Dunes Link Course.

The Picard Junior was met with blustery winds and cold temperatures that made for extremely tough scoring. Kelli Murphy added her name to the Picard Trophy for a second time when her 4 over 76 was good enough to take the overall title. The Elgin native also won the championship in 2010.

Good Luck today at Lake Merced Golf Course.  I hear it is a tough course, but you can do it.

Happy Birthday, Kelli!

I couldn’t decide what to buy you for your birthday so I bought you a website!

Now I need you to help me design your new website in all of your “spare” time–colors, fonts, pictures, etc.  What colors do you like?  Here is a website where you can pick out colors.

Love you,
